COMPREHENSIVE INTERVENTION AGAINST GENDER-BASED 'VIOLENCE (CIAGV)
CIAGV provides a holistic framework on prevention, response and reintegration to better understand and address gender-based violence (GBV) in the community. It envisions women, men, girls and boys to have reduced vulnerabilities to GBV through increased access to quality response and reintegration services and participation in preventive actions.
OBJECTIVES
- Reduce incidence of gender-based violence, in both normal and emergency/ crisis situations
- Improve provision of services to victim-survivors of GBV
- Facilitate socio-economic integration of GBV survivors
COMPONENTS
- Prevention
Increase awareness of the general population and vulnerable groups (rural, urban, IP) on the knowledge and perception of GBV, and strategies to combat it - Response
Improvement of service delivery systems to survivors through specialized trainings, improvement of centers and establishment of women- friendly centers during crisis situations - Reintegration
Provision of services that will support the healing, rebuilding of lives and smooth return of victim- survivors to the community

• Women, men, girls and boys who are victims of physical, sexual, psychological, economic and other forms of abuse and exploitation, including trafficking
